National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is an official scholarship portal of India, which is launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Under this portal, the government of India and the state government provides various scholarship to all the students of all over India, under this portal you can also apply for the various scholarship scheme listed on this portal. Eligibility Criteria for National Scholarship Scheme (NSP)

Applicants who are looking to apply for the Scholarship under the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), first you must know your eligibility before applying for the scholarship. Here are the step by step guide mention below to check your eligibility on the official portal of NSP.

  • Step 1: Go to the official web portal of the National Scholarship Portal (NSP)
  • Step 2: From the Home page click on the “Service” option
  • Step 3: Now from the drop drown menu click on the “Scheme eligibility” option
  • Step 4: A new page will be open where you will need to enter your information such as your Domicile State/ UT, Course Level, Religion, Caste/ Community Category, Gender, Parent Annual Income, Weather Disabled, etc.
  • Step 5: Once you fill in all your information now enter the security CAPTCHA code and click on “Check Eligibility”

What is the Document required to apply for National Scholarship Portal (NSP)?

  • Step 3: New the instruction page will appear on your screen, read the instruction carefully and click on the “Continue” button
  • Step 4: On the registration page you will need to enter your Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Gender, Email Id, and your Bank account Number.
  • Step 5: Once you enter all your information enter the security CAPTCHA code from the given image and click on the “Register”

Login and Fill your Application Form

  • Step 1: Go to the official web portal of the National Scholarship Portal
  • Step 2: From the home page click on “Student Registration ID”

  • Step 4: On the new page the application form will be open on your screen, here you will need to enter your information such as your State of Domicile, Name of Applicant, Your Date of Birth, Community/Category, Father Name, Aadhar Number, Mobile Number, Gender, Religion, etc.

  • Step 5: After you enter all your information click on “Save & Continue” then you will be sent to the next application page.
  • Step 6: Here you will need to upload all the document asked on the page
  • Step 7: Now for the final submission click on the button “Final Submission” then your application will be finally submitted.

Note Once your application is finally submitted you will not able to make any changes, so before clicking on the submit button check your application carefully.

  • Step 1: Go to the official web portal of the National Scholarship Portal (NSP)
  • Step 2: From the home page click on the “Login” button

  • Step 4: Once you are login to your dashboard click on the renewal application.

How to track your Payment status on NSP

  • Step 1: Go to the official web portal of the National Scholarship Portal
  • Step 2: From the home page click on the “Know your Payment” option

  • Step 3: Now you will need to enter some of your information such as Bank Account Number, Bank Name, Confirm your Account Number then verify the CAPTCHA code from the given image.
  • Step 4: Now click on the “Search” button to know your payment status.
