Oasis Scholarship Scheme 2021
The government of West Bengal administers the oasis Scholarship portal, and it is an all-in-one solution for all the scholarship eligible applicants, all the eligible applicants include SC/ST/OBC and another dominical category of the West Bengal Government. The backward classed Welfare Department runs the scholarship portal. The scholarship is categorized into two different categories of pre matric and post matric scholarship.
Oasis Scholarship West Bengal 2021 Eligibility criteria
To get shortlisted for the Oasis Scholarship West Bengal 2021 there are some important factors set by the Backward Classes Welfare Department of West Bengal and by the Government of West Bengal for the different categories.
- To receive the Oasis Scholarship Post Matric for OBC students, the applicant must form the OBC category, studying at the post-matriculation level and their family income should not be more than Rs. 100000 per annum from all source
- The applicants belonging to the SC/ST category and studying at the post-matriculation level are eligible for the Oasis Scholarship but their family income should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh from all sources.
- The students belonging to the SC or ST category, studying in class 9th and class 10th standard, and their family income not exceeding more than Rs. 2 lakh per annum can apply for the scholarship.
Oasis Scholarship 2020 West Bengal, Registration and Apply online Application Procedure
To apply for the Oasis Scholarship, students first need to register themselves on the portal and create a login ID and password. Once the registration is done he/she can click on any listed scholarship as per his/her qualification.
Registration (procedure step by step).
- Visit the official site (oasis.gov.in)
- Click on “Student’s Registration” on the home page
- Select the district where your school or college is based
- Now verify your caste, fill in the details, and click on submit.
- Once the caste certificate is verified, now you will be addressed to the online registration page. (filled all the required details and submit)
- Login in to your scholarship application page
- Once the registration is complete, students can download their user ID/ application number and password via “Download login information/ Oasis 2021 acknowledge slip”
- Now enter your application number/ user id and password and click on the “login now”
- Once logged in, fill in the further details and bank information carefully and click on “save and proceed”
- Review and Lock your application
Once you have successfully filled all your required details in your application form, you can click on the “Verify and Lock” button to save all your information. Please note that once you save your application, you are not allowed to make any changes further. So, make sure you have filled in all your information correctly before locking your details.
Printing and Submitting your application
After locking your application form, click on the “Download Application Form” Button to get a computer-generated copy of the filled-in application form.

Oasis Scholarship West Bengal 2021 Eligibility criteria (Renewal Application)
The applicant receiving Oasis Scholarship under West Bengal must renew their application status each year, till their course completion to keep receiving the Oasis Scholarship each year without amount uninterruptedly. It has to be done before the last date, all the information containing the renewal process can be obtained from the official site of the Oasis Scholarship portal West Bengal.
- Students from class 9th and class 10th can apply for the pre matric and post matric scholarship provided on the portal.
- Students belonging to the OBC category with a maximum family income of Rs 1 lakh can apply for the scholarship
- Students from class 9th and 10th along with graduate-level courses can apply for the scholarship.
- Students whose parents or guardians having an income of less than 2.5 lakh annually from all sources can apply for the scholarship.

- Log in to your existing account using User ID/ Application number and password.
