One nation one ration card scheme was launched in August 2019. By December 2020, 32 states and union territories were added under this scheme. In the coming time, the remaining four states and union territories, which are Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, and West Bengal, will also be added. Every month 1.5 to 16 crore transactions are recorded through one nation one ration card. From April 2020 to February 2021, 15.4 crore transactions have been recorded under one nation one ration card. Many efforts are being made by the government to spread awareness of this scheme. In one nation one ration card covered 86% of beneficiaries
