Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY), is an amnesty scheme launch by the central government of India to help the poor and needy people of the country during this pandemic. In December 2016 on the lines of the Income declaration scheme, 2016 (IDS) launched earlier in the year. A part of the Taxation Laws (Second Amendment) Act, 2016, the scheme provides an opportunity to declare unaccounted wealth and black money privately and avoid prosecution after paying a fine of 50% on the undisclosed income. An additional 25% of the undisclosed income is invested in the scheme which can be refunded after four years, without any interest.
Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana Latest Update 2021
A new announcement has been made by the Prime Minister of our country, Shri Narendra Modi, addressing the nation today, just before the second phase of unlocking. Under this announcement, the Prime Minister of our country has announced to extend this scheme further till November. The Prime Minister has said that under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, more than 80 crore low-income families of the country will be provided 5 kg wheat, 5 kg rice free of cost by the government by November, i.e., these 5 months. Every month 1 kg of a gram will also be given for free. The scheme will cost more than Rs. 90 thousand crores till November. PM Modi said that with the budget of the first three months, it becomes about 1.5 lakh crores.
PMGKY Foodgrains allocated and distributed till date list
As you all know that under this scheme, all the poor ration cardholder’s families of the country will be provided 5 kg wheat or 5 kg rice free of cost by the government till November. So tell you, for these five months, the government has allocated 201 lakh tonnes of food grains and out of these 89.76 lakh tonnes of food grains have been raised by the states and 60.52 lakh tonnes of food grains have been distributed by the states to the poor people under this scheme. . Under the scheme, 35.84 lakh tonnes of food grains have been given to the beneficiaries in July and the total number of beneficiaries is 71.68 crore. Similarly, 24.68 lakh tonnes of food grains have been distributed to the beneficiaries in August and the total number of beneficiaries is 49.36 crore.

Benefit Provided under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana
Finance Ministry informed that funds are being disbursed under a limited time limit in the account of the beneficiaries under the PMGKY scheme, so far, the benefits under the Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, PM Kisan Yojana through digital payment under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana Are being done. - Under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, an amount of Rs 500 per month will be provided to women Jan Dhan account holders of the country for 3 months. About 20 crore women will be benefited from this.

Under this scheme, insurance up to Rs 50 lakh will be made available by the Government of India to all the workers working in the medical field such as Doctor Nurse, Medical Staff Asha Workers, and all other staff. Prime Minister Pool Welfare Divyang Pension Scheme
Honorable Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman while addressing the concern said that because of the ongoing situation in the country, the government will provide an additional pension of Rs 1000 for the elders with disabilities for the coming 3 months in the country, and this benefit is given through the direct benefit transfer by DBT. About three crore beneficiaries will be covered under this scheme.
Self-Service group for Deep plan
By amending under Deendayal Yojana by the Government of India, now women working under Women Self Help Group will be provided loans up to ₹ 20 lakhs, this amount was limited to Rs.10 lakhs earlier as well as all the 3 months for the upcoming government For women whose accounts are opened under Jan Dhan, an amount of Rs 500 will be made available through DBT for the next 3 months.
LPG BPL gas scheme
Keeping in view the disaster of the COVID 19 virus, it was recently decided by the government to lock down 21 days but at the same time keeping in view the condition of the poor, three LPG gas cylinders to all BPL families for the coming 3 months by the Government of India. Under the scheme, about 8.3 lakh crore beneficiaries will be provided absolutely free. 97.8 lakh cylinders have been delivered to the needy under the Ujjwala scheme.
