The State Scholarship Portal (SSP) is initially launched by the government of Karnataka. SSP Scholarship Portal is launched for providing of Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship by the Government of Karnataka. Through the center, for the e-government of Karnataka, this portal is initiated to offer financial support to students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC minority communities / general and economically weaker sections.
There are a total of 4 departments in SSP Scholarships that offer to those needy students. This department is the Social Welfare Department, Scheduled Welfare Department, Backward classes Welfare Department and the Minorities Welfare Department. Till now SSP Scholarships Karnataka Received a total of 1924 Applications and out of this 4507899 get Approved, and till now SSP has paid a total of 3598 applications.

SSP Scholarship 2021-22
Under this portal scholarship is granted both pre matric and post matric category through various departments. However, a student pursuing graduation, post-graduation, and Ph.D. can also apply for a scholarship.
Students pursuing M.Phil/ Ph.D. course will receive financial support of Rs 8000 and 10000 at the end of the research work. SSP has given a chance for students to apply for different scholarships online from anywhere at any given time. It also helps the students to apply for Fresh and Renewal applications and tracks the status of their application.

SSP Scholarships Offered under Karnataka Government.
The government of Karnataka offered Post-Matric and Pre-Matric Scholarships under SSP Scholarship. Applicants can apply online under SSP Karnataka Scholarship Application Form 2019-2020 through the direct link available here. The last date for applying for the scholarship has been extended to Dec 31 for submission of application for the year 2019-2020 through scholarship portal ssp.postmatric.katnataka.gov.in

SSP Scholarship Apply online & Login procedure
Eligible students can apply for SSP Scholarship Online by following the online procedure.
SSP Scholarship Online Registration procedure.
- Visit the Official website of State Scholarship (SSP). karnataka.gov.in
- Click on the “Create an Account” link available on top of the home page.
- Select the scholarship type and enter the student SATS ID and click on the “Get Data” button. (Click Here to know your SATS ID)
- Student detail fetched from SATS displays on your screen. Click on the “Save & Proceed”. If the SATS details are correct then click “yes” and continue. Otherwise, If your SATS ID is correct but your name and other details are incorrect then you should contact the school for corrections.
- Enter your mobile number and click “submit”
- An OTP will generate and send to your given mobile number.
- Confirm OTP then change your password as per instruction prescribed on the same page.
- Fill in other required details correctly and submit the SSP Karnataka Application Form.
- Save your User ID and Password for future use to get
SSP Login Karnataka
- Once the account is created successfully, click on the “Student Login” link from the home page.
- Now enter User ID and Password and click on the Login button.
- Your SSP Karnataka Scholarship Dashboard will get open.
- Fill the scholarship application form as per your eligibility
SSP Scholarship Online applying procedure
- After the SSP login Karnataka, you can see the “Student Account” homepage.
- Enter Aadhar details, Student NSP ID, Income and Caste Certificate RD number, and select Religion.
- Then, Click on the ‘Save & Proceed’ to generate acknowledgment.
- After this, you can see the acknowledgment page on your screen. If your parent has Aadhar, then click on “e-sign”. An OTP will be sent to your parent’s registered Aadhar mobile number, confirm OTP. If your parent’s Aadhar mobile number is not active then they will not get OTP. In this case, download the Consent Form from the SSP website, fill and submit it to the school.
- Then, students need to take a printout of an acknowledgment and submit to their respective school.

- Enter the user id and password.
