Up Scholarship 2021 Registration Procedure, How to apply for UP Scholarship?
To apply for various UP Scholarship 2021, we have given you details on various steps that should be followed to be eligible for the UP Scholarship Scheme. All the Eligible Candidates can apply for the respective Scholarships through the online system only on prescribed application tenure.
Here is the brief verification detail about the application process that you need to follow on applying for any of the scholarships offered by the UP Government.
Step 1: New Student Registration
- Visit the official site of the UP Scholarship Portal website: scholarship.up.nic.in
- From the “Student” section click New Registration
- Select the scholarship for which you wish to apply.
- Fill in the mandatory details that are marked with *
- Click on “submit” to complete Registration.
Step 2: UP Scholarship Login (Student Login)
Once the student registration is complete, click on the “student” section and select the “Fresh Login” option for Fresh application and “Renewal Login” for renewal applications as per the scholarship you wish for.
- Go to the “UP Scholarship Login” and enter your registration number along with your Date of Birth and Password.
- The page will be redirecting you to a page on important instructions.
- After reading the instructions carefully, tick on the box at the end and click on “proceed”.
Step 3: Filling Application Form
- The moment you click on the “proceed” button, you will be directed to the user dashboard.
- Click on “fill application form”
- Enter your details on the “scholarship application form” and click on the “Submit” option
- Now after you completed the entire process click on the “Submit” button.
Step 4: Upload all required documents
After filling in all the details now you will be redirected to the uploading document page, you will need to upload your photograph and other supporting documents.
Step 5: Final submission
Before you go for the final submission of the application form, the applicants are advised to go through every piece of information filled in carefully to avoid any kind of discrepancy afterward.
Step 6: Submit your application form to your respective Institution
After all the final submission of the application form, the applications are requested to take the print out of the form and submit it along with other supporting documents to their respective educational institutions.

Important Instruction on UP Scholarship Portal
- UP Scholarship is fairly available for all the candidates belonging to any of the categories such as General/OBC/SC/ST.
- Applications from those institutes, which are blacklisted by the government, are not eligible to apply for the scholarship
- The students must attach a hardcopy of photocopy of the bank passbook and must receive the receipt.
- Registrants must submit the application form in the department concerned, in person, and must receive the receipt.
- Candidates must provide their effective email ID and mobile number.
- All the details and documents produced by the candidate must be authentic and real. If the given information is obtained wrong, then the application and data collected will be rejected.
- Suspect applications will not be sending for scholarships and will be discarded at the same time.
